My impression was that the team came out fired up, with plenty of pride. Even after the first fumble, the defense had a lot of energy. But around 10-0, or 17-0, it was as if someone pricked a hole in the balloon and they had put so much into this one game, when things went bad, they couldn't recover. Then it just got worse and worse. This team, with a couple exceptions, has never been one to come back when losing badly.<br /><br />I don't think the crowd helped either. As soon as the Giants got behind by more than a touchdown, the boos were everywhere. It doesn't help a team come back when the crowd isn't behind them. I'm obviously not saying it was the crowd's fault.
