To be honest, I don't know how long the Giants will keep him and Reese together. I have to assume Ross is highly thought of in the NFL, and obviously at least the Seahawks, given his draft record.

Chris B.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389921495587729314.post-57948201191973129042010-01-26T15:32:41.106-05:002010-01-26T15:32:41.106-05:00Chris B.

Of course, Coughlin has input. But Ross is really a guy who has a lot of say in this whole thing. Losing him to the Seahawks (he was considered for the GM spot before Pete Carroll became HC) would have left a significant hole in the organization as far as the draft goes.Ernie Palladinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18158244440623733145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389921495587729314.post-13634764316576117952010-01-26T14:45:50.471-05:002010-01-26T14:45:50.471-05:00Giants have a lot of rebuilding to do on defense. ...Giants have a lot of rebuilding to do on defense. For the life on me, I can't see them picking an offensive player in the top 4. But this best athelete thing might come up, especially if someone is there who plays on the offensive line.

Reese is obviously in charge. I wonder how much he rely's on Ross and if Coughlin has any say on personnel? What I mean is if TC likes a specific guy, not a position.

Chris B.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389921495587729314.post-58330400135160876662010-01-26T12:48:15.399-05:002010-01-26T12:48:15.399-05:00You mean Chris Mara?
