Hate To Do This...

But here are the highlights from whatever that mess was yesterday.

First one to say, "Ya know, it didn't look half as bad on tape as it did live," or "They really did do a lot of positive things," gets a sock in the kisser.

  1. Forget a sock in the kisser, anyone who saw anything positive in there needs a one way ticket to Bellvue.

  2. I'm not even going to bother looking at that video. It's like asking to be hit in the groin again the next day. No thanks.

  3. Ernie - no need to be sadistic. The only people who should watch this tape are the guys who played. And at the end of the tape, Reece, Mara, and Tisch should walk into the room and ask each man why, based on what they just watched, do they deserve to stay. Fans should never have to watch a Giants team quit ever again. Earn your paycheck or leave.

  7. Ernie, i think i am with the other folks here - can't stomach watching it. Thanks for the effort though!

Now, it will be interesting to see which players show up next week, in a "meaningless" game. It might go a long way to determine who they can depend on in the upcoming years. Then, get rid of the quitters.

  8. If not for the holding call, that pass from Manning to Smith was perfect. The play developed well and Smith was wide open. That's the only positive I see and, because I saw a positive, you guys can write my ticket to the nut house. Hopefully '10 will be much better than '09. New stadium and hopefully a new defensive coordinator!
