Here's the preliminary injury report.
TE Travis Beckum (groin), RB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankles and foot), S Michael Johnson (groin), QB Eli Manning (foot), G Chris Snee (knee), and RB DJ Ware (concussion).
It'll be interesting to see where, exactly, Ware is on the concussion. If he's still suffering symptoms, don't expect him for Sunday because of the NFL's new rules. As far as concussions go, there is theoretically no such thing as an "all hands on deck" situation anymore. He's foggy, he sits.
By the way, reports indicate Flozell Adams got hit with a $50,000 fine for his hit on Justin Tuck Sunday. That's a dinner and a lunch to the beefy Cowboys' tackle, who has raised questionable tactics to an art form.

Danny Ware SUX! His pads are too big for him and he fumbled the ball in his only meaningful time. Nothing infuriates me more than some guy who has done nothing getting credit for being a good reciever or a good blocker. This guy is a nothing and I would rather see Gartrell Johnson who has not fumbled.
ReplyDeleteGive Danny some time...it's his first full year on the team playing behind Jacobs and Bradshaw. I think he has a lot to offer if he can get over his injury plagued season...first elbow and now concussion, the guy can't seem to catch a break...no pun intended.
ReplyDeleteAs for Flozell, that guy should have been suspended one game! I can't believe he wasn't!! $50,000??? WTF??? That's all??? is the league scared of J Jones? Talk about lack of enforcement!
As usual I agree with Wayno, Danny Ware gets better and better in the public eye the less he plays. If the Giants thought they had something there, they would not have drafted the RB from NC State. Each draft you should take one RB from a fairly solid program and give him a test drive. There's no position in the NFL where more players turn late draft positions into a starting role than RB (look at our two RB as evidence).
ReplyDeleteThe chargers have done pretty good in evaluating talent at RB, maybe Gartrell deserves a chance. I've posed this question before, but didn't Sinorice Moss do a little time at RB while at UM?
As soon as Danny Ware....oh excuse me DJ hits the field he gets injured. Not a fan.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Flozell goes...he making 14 million this season. 50 K is nothing more than a nuisance to him. What will he do this week now that he's facing Shawne Merriman? Oh yeah, he'll have a box cutter in his jock and when Merriman blows by him, he'll cut him. The NFL will look at the tape and just fine him again saying what's the big deal it's a very small blade. What a joke the NFL & Roger Goodell have become. Fine Ocho Cinco 30K for a dance celebration and look the other way with a Cowboy. Conspiracy theory anyone?
Off topic here. But if you have PSL's in the new stadium and have not heard from them yet, you can call and they will give you your new seat locations.
