Justin Tuck can probably focus his energies on the Falcons' other running backs now. According to various reports, Michael Turner will not play Sunday with what has been diagnosed as a high ankle sprain. Those usually take four to six weeks to recover from, though the Falcons hope Turner can get back into action in two to three games.
Either way, it would probably take a miracle for him to play Sunday. And with Jerrious Norwood hurting, the start would likely go to Jason Snelling.

Hey Ernie,
ReplyDeleteI hear there's a chance Norwood could start. What do you think the chances are of him playing?
He's no Turner, but he can still run...
Either way, we've had 2 weeks to study a 5-4 team. Even WITH Turner we should handle them at home.
Coach Coughlin spoke about how things have to start going the Giants way. Well, here's a start. With Turner out this up-coming Sunday, the Giants run-defense will have averted a huge thorn in their side.
ReplyDeleteHowever, the G-men did get their butts handed to them against the Eagles w/o Westbrook. Which goes to show you that there are no guarantees in the NFL. If there ever was a must-win game, this is it.
Ern, can u let us know what they are writing about Boley? Is there another good source besides the journal constitution?
