According to a report on Philly.com this morning, Kevin Gilbride, Jr., son of Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride, will become the team's new offensive quality control coach.
The younger Gilbride spent the last four seasons coaching wide receivers and tight ends at Temple University. He will replace Sean Ryan, who moves up into former wide receivers coach Mike Sullivan's spot as Sullivan moves on to quarterback coaching duties.
An NFL source indicated that the hiring hasn't been completed as yet.

I can't help but think of the line from Jurassic Park 2 - "They say talent skips a generation. So, I'm sure your kids will be sharp as tacks.". If it's true, we struck gold with the son.
ReplyDeleteLOL at dweez....
ReplyDeleteThis, along with the Mike Sullivan move could signal drawing the wagons together closer. I suspect TC knows what is coming if the Giants get of to a slow start.
