The Giants decided to leave rookie quarterback Rhett Bomar exactly where he began the week -- on the practice squad. That's another sign that Eli Manning will at least be in shape to play, and will probably make his 83rd consecutive start tomorrow against the Raiders.
Manning went through the morning walk-through okay, and will remain one of only two rostered quarterbacks with David Carr. As I said before, I'm not a real fan of the two-quarterback system, anyway. But Tom Coughlin's reluctance to give up a roster spot for Bomar indicates faith that Manning and his injured heel will be there.
