a whole season without somebody getting banned from this blog. As you've seen, I've always encouraged opinions, agreeable or disagreeable. I asked that we all keep it clean, and for the most part we have, and I appreciate that.
But I guess I forgot to say to leave the families out of this, yours and mine. Somebody just went way, way, way over the line, and we won't be hearing from him for quite a while now. Unfortunately, he has also forced me to do something I never, ever wanted to do, which is to censor this blog. From now on, all comments will be moderated, and I will determine who's comments are published and who's aren't. Sorry for that, but I will not have anybody's family attacked. That's not what we're about, and that's not what sports are about.
Again, sorry I've had to go through these lengths, but the guy left me no choice. Thanks to the rest of you for keeping the standards of this blog high.
Remember, if you wouldn't say it in front of your 10-year-old daughter in your living room, don't say it here. And leave everybody's family out of it.

Okay, well said. Now let's get back to the Giants and Football related stuff.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, when does Fewell talk to the media next? Did I miss the introduction? Has anyone interviewed for the D-line coach?
How about a discussion about the Giants draft team and process? What I mean is, how does the team evaluate needs internally. Who has what say, etc. I have an idea of what happens but what are the specifics of building the draft board? I would be interested on your grades of the people involved.

Ooo!! Ooo!! Tell us who the idiot was. Please!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way... Colts:45 Aints: 38
Neither team will be able to stop the other, but the Colts make less mistakes. The Over/Under for this Superbowl should be 746.
That is too bad, its hard to get involved in a blog when comments are held up.
ReplyDeleteErnie,
ReplyDeleteSorry to read about the problems. Your blog is a great venue for Giant fans. Let's hope it can move forward with little to no interruption to the free flow of communication that it has been a privilidge to participate in.
GOGOLACK
Wow, miss one weekend of Ernie's blog and miss all the fireworks! Ernie - the reality of banning anyone is that they just sign in from another computer under a different name. Profootballtalk.com has banned about 100 morons and they, unfortunately, always come back under a new "name" spitting the same old venom and drivel. The internet has revolutionized all our lives. Sadly, not always for the better. It has also given every nut-job, bigot, and fool a platform. Sorry it happened Ern, but it's unavoidable on the Net. The more popular your blog gets, the more wackos you'll have to deal with.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty happy we won't have to deal with 2 weeks of Brett Favre leading up to the Super Bowl. Who is everyoone pulling for?
