In With A Whimper

Good news, bad news.

First, the good news. Reserve tackle Guy Whimper signed his restricted free agent tender, joining DE Dave Tollefson and G Kevin Boothe in the fold. The other five are expected to sign their tenders by Thursday's deadline for other teams to sign restricted players to offer sheets.

Now, the bad news. Had kind of thought the whole NFL schedule would come out this week. But according to the NFL public relations office, it hasn't been completed yet, and there's no firm timetable for its release. Rest assure, though, that if it doesn't come out before the draft, it'll probably come out a few days after the draft.
