My gal, Patti Traina, will be having a live chat tomorrow night at 8 p.m. on her blog, Traina Thought. Hope you'll join her to get her insight (assuming you've had enough of me for the time being) on the draft and all other things Giants. Here's the info.
By the way, punter Jeff Feagles is supposed to officially announce his retirement on Friday, according to Patti. No surprise there, since he'd told the Tom Coughlin and the front office he was reconsidering his decision to play a 23rd season before the draft. Hence, the reason for choosing East Carolina punter Matt Dodge with the seventh-round pick.

It will be interesting seeing dodge. I hope they teach him to kick it to the sidelines half as good as Feags.
ReplyDeletedont count out bond, jy bond
ReplyDeleteu dont draft a punter in the seventh round. The best chance Bond has is making the practice squad.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone heard if Tony Washington(offensive tackle) has been picked up anywhere? I know he had some off the field issues. If you havn't heard of him you should look him up. But, from a purely football perspective, his scouting report looks pretty good. Looks like he would have been drafted on the second day if he wasn't a regestered sex offender.
ReplyDeleteand his mom is a lady of the night. too soon? i dont know what bryant was thinking making that public. i might make a funny sign aimed at him when the cowboys visit the giants.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Giants should dedicate a corner of the field as a tribute to a great punter who was a great defensive weapon
ReplyDeleteSeems as if big John Henderson never made it to Kansas City. Hopefully he's on his way to New York to meet with the Giants. I'd like to see Bernard cut and this guy signed. He has a better chance of winning a SB with the Giants then with the Cheifs. Hopefully thats his mentality
