Somebody mentioned the article in today's Post that Paul Schwartz wrote on Ahmad Bradshaw. Here it is. Sounds very optimistic about Bradshaw being back to full strength, especially since he declined the option to practice just once a day.
Here's something else happening with the running backs. Sounds like Andre Brown is having himself a nice camp, as he stood out in a recent goal line drill. Anyone eager to see him as, perhaps, the third back behind Brandon Jacobs and Bradshaw? And should Bradshaw take over the No. 1 spot ahead of Jacobs?

I just hope Brown is good on kick coverage. Those who show themselves to be good special teams players should get reps. I thought feags did a decent job last year overall bu the rest of the special teams were terrible in every facet. Tim Brown excites me and hopefully brotha Andre can to.
ReplyDeleteI think next year, the running game is going to be our biggest problem. A committee is going to be necessary. Jacobs's body can't keep taking the same punishment he has since 2008, and Bradshaw has pins in his feet. I don't trust either of their health. It is encouraging that Andre Brown is recovering from an injury that no one recovers from, but its hard to project we can count on him to carry a load. That leaves Danny Ware and Gatrell Johnson. Why hasn't this issue been getting more press than say, that Shaun O'Hara looks kind of like Jeff Saturday?
ReplyDeleteIts the Post though....always looking for some drama. I think these guys are situational, but contract and size alone dictates that Jacobs will always be the workhorse.
