Guess Jerry Reese wasn't kidding when he said Hakeem Nicks would be back for tonight's full-pads practice. He's out there working. Meanwhile, Travis Beckum, Shaun O'Hara, and Mario Manningham are out.

Love it. He's starting to fit the Boldin mold.
ReplyDeleteMore good news. Now that this is all behind the Giants, Plax needs to be signed. If this taught the Giants anything, they need more receiving help because if one of the big three gets injured (which will happen, hopefully not seriously) the Giants are screwed.
ReplyDeleteI agree Wayno, but realistically do you see that happening?
ReplyDeleteReese actually taking Plax back after what happened? Coughlin wanting a guy back that he had to fine and suspend for not showing up to meetings on time? Another more desperate wide receiverless team not willing to pay more than us (Bears, Broncos, Jets, Redskins...anyone else who missed out on T.O.)?
I mean winning is winning, but I just don't think it'll happen.
This is huge to me. I haven't been this giddy over a Giants player in a very long time. I kept telling my son last year, "watch out for this kid Hakeem Nicks. As soon as Coughlin and Gilbride put him on the field they're going to see reasons to keep putting him out there."
ReplyDeleteEvery time Nicks made a play, my son would look over at me and I'd have a wide-eyed stupid grin on my face.
Hakeem Nicks will be the greatest Giants receiver in history, mark my words.
