If any of you are still interested in the mini war of words between the Giants and Jets over this meaningless preseason game, here's a link to the whole story. I think the whole thing is a lot of silliness. But, hey, it fills space on a slow Saturday.
By the way, the practice going on right now appears to be a walk-through, according to Mikey G., since nobody appears to be wearing shells.

Right on. Silliness is exactly what it is. My only concern in this whole thing is that some players might take this too seriously and play harder than they should in a meaningless preseason exhibition with the only purpose being to serve as a champagne bottle breaking over the new stadium.
ReplyDeleteI say, bench all the starters, play the practice squad guys and let the Jets jaw and run the field in a worthless game. I don't want another Osi situation.
