In The Cold

Tom Coughlin had the whole gang outside on the grass field today, in wind and all. That should help Eli Manning, who has traditionally had difficulty throwing in the winter breezes, of which there should be many come Sunday night.

Word has it (through Ralph V.) that DE Osi Umenyiora and DBs coach Pete Giunta decided to wear shorts. Hearty lads.

Also, RB Ahmad Bradshaw was back at practice, meaning everybody worked for the first time this week.

  1. STUPID! It is butt ass cold outside and too cold to do anything productive. I mean it is REALLLY cold and i wouldn't have concentration for more than a minute. These guys need to be tougher but this is extreme. Tell me if I'm wrong community members.

  3. You're wrong. Giants practiced outside the week leading up to the 2007 NFC Championship game in GB. The Packers practiced inside the wk. leading up to the Championship game. Seems like it helped the Giants prepare for the elements.

+ Eli can sure use the practice with the wind @ the Meadows, esp when Gilbride dials up 50 pass plays this weekend.
