The league also set the times and dates for the preseason schedule.

The Giants and Jets will open their new stadium on Aug. 16 at 8 p.m. (ESPN), to be followed with a 7 p.m., Aug. 21 home game against the Steelers (NBC). The following Saturday, Aug. 28, they'll head to Baltimore for a 7 p.m. kickoff (NBC), and they'll wind up the preseason with a 7 p.m. home game against New England on Sept. 2 (NBC).

They do not face any of those teams in the regular season.
