More Draft Visits

As usual, Mikey G. from the Star-Ledger is right on top of these draft visits. He says South Florida defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was in this week as one of the Giants' 30 non-local prospects. And he's got a list of some of the other out-of-area guys who have swung by the TPC facility for pre-draft look-sees.

So give him a read.

  1. So Morrison is on the trade block. I would love a trade of OSI for Morrison straight up.

  2. Wayno,

I'm not a big fan of Osi either, believe me. But trading him for a guy who had a third round tender on him doesn't value Osi nearly enough. I really think we need to make room for Kiwi long-term.

Osi is worth multiple picks with a second rounder at least in the mix.

  3. I think everybody overvalues Osi and if they could get something more than a 3rd round tender or pick Reese would do it. This still may happen and I think there is a decent chance Osi will be traded. If I was a GM and Reese called me up about Osi I would laugh in his face. He didnt even look like an NFL player last year and will be out of the league in a short time.

  4. am i the only one that wants Osi to stay with the team - i'd rather build a team from within rather than try to trade valuable guys for "higher rated" talent - you get a homegrown guy to commit to the the team and they get more done than a free agent working for a paycheck - KEEP OSI!!!! i want Osi to be the next Strahan - whole career with the team and push himself to crush the sack record. treat him like he's vaulable cuz he is.

  5. Strahan not only one of the great pass rushers of all time but was one of the great run stuffing de's of all time. Osi will never be that and I could play the run better. He was pushed off the ball EVERY run play not to mention a loudmouth delusional jerk. Please never compare a first ballot HOF DE to Osi again.

  6. I was disappointed in Osi last year as well. But I have to give him a pass because of his serious knee injury. He will be motivated this season for sure. I expect him to bounce back and play much better.

  7. Osi has a bad attitude, and he's weak against the run. I don't think Kiwi is much better against the run, so it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see the Giants take a true DE at 15
