Jacobs and 100 Yards

To win Sunday, it may come down to Brandon Jacobs getting his first 100-yard rushing effort of the season. The fact that he doesn't have one of those through the first eight games is a big reason behind the Giants' struggles. Since he became the Giants' featured back in 2007 following the retirement of Tiki Barber, Jacobs has never waited this long for a 100-yard game.

You can tell in this video that he's pretty perplexed over that. But also, don't discount the importance of such performances. If he gets one, it probably means he's handling the ball more than 20 times, which is where the Giants ideally need him to be if they're to wear down the Chargers' defense.

And here's a fun little clip of Justin Tuck wearing one of his favorite Yankee jerseys. It's all of two weeks old. Big Yankees fan from birth. Used to pitch a little and claimed he plunked his share of batters. He was at the first two World Series games, but couldn't make it last night because he was feeling a little bit under the weather.
