Honeymoon Sprinting

Here's Mike Eisen's story on Aaron Ross from Giants.com in which Ross tells of sprinting in the Dubai sand on his honeymoon to prove his hamstrings were back to full strength after a season of trouble.

Also, a correction from an earlier entry. DJ Ware and Andre Brown are going to return kickoffs, while Victor Cruz, Ross, and a player to be named later return punts against the Jets. As for the playing time allotment Monday night, expect the starters to play a quarter or so before Tom Coughlin starts inserting the backups. That's pretty much the routine everybody uses for a first preseason game.

  1. Oh Great, Danny Ware and his oversized shoulder pads returning kicks. Hopefully Victor Cruz, Andre Brown or a player soon to be plucked off waivers can help this team because I am scared this year will be as bad as last year in the return game.

  2. "Danny Ware and his oversized shoulder pads..."

LOL. You're a real pain in the can, you know that? You wouldn't happen to still be single would you?

  4. Anyone know if our 1st game is going to be TV-d outside NYC area? I'm a long-time Giants fan who's lived a long-time in LA.

  5. The first preseason game will be on ESPN. But the first regular season game will be on regular TV. It will be broadcast in other areas, so LA's a possibility since it's a 1 p.m. game. And no other west coast teams will be playing at that time.
