Seubert Out

Rich Seubert, already fighting for his job at left guard, received some bad news today. He has broken bone in his hand and could miss a week. That could mean that David Diehl will move over for some extensive first-team work at left guard while Seubert heals, with Will Beatty goes to left tackle.

Missing a week won't kill a veteran like Seubert, but it won't help his case, either. Meanwhile, Adam Koets gets even more of a workload at center while Shaun O'Hara manages his swollen left ankle.

  1. Not good. Koets getting more reps. Anyone else banging their head against their desk or am I the only one? The plus side is Beatty seems to need all the reps at LT he can get, given his sub-par performance last night.

  2. I was not upset about this at all. He will be fine and lets face it, hes nothing but a backup at this point in his career.

  3. Not a very good one.

  4. More worried about O'Hara than Seubert. We all know Diehl would be back at guard sooner or later.

I'm more disgruntled at the fact that we haven't really drafted and groomed an O'Hara replacement over the last 2 years. I'm not crazy about Koets at Center.
