No. 26

Aaron Rouse is gone, but his memory will live on in the person of Antrel Rolle.

Or maybe not.

Since Kenny Phillips already owns Rolle's old No. 21, Rolle will take over the departed Rouse's No. 26. Expectations are high that fans will see more of the front than the back of that uniform now.

  1. Best on the web Ernie! Just read all the posts.

There is a lot of chatter about how this may mean that Kenny P is done. I just don't get that. Both these guys are playmakers anc can play the run or pass. Together they are great.

    Thanks,

    Chris B.

Keep in mind that this has only a little to do with Phillips. The ultimate plan is to use both at the same time, not have Rolle as a replacement. But he could be. Ideally, the odd man out is Michael Johnson, not Phillips. But microfracture surgery is a tricky thing and most players take more than a year to get back from it, if at all. Still, if Phillips can play, it'll be a Phillips-Rolle tandem.
